I came to counselling after many years in education, working alongside teachers, parents and children when life at school, and at home, got difficult. That background still shapes how I work: practically, warmly and without judgement.
I trained at the Northern Guild for Psychotherapy and Counselling in Newcastle, and I’m a Registered Member MBACP. MBACP stands for Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, the UK’s professional body for counsellors, so I work within its Ethical Framework, have regular clinical supervision, and appear on its public register.
Whether you come for a few focused sessions or stay for longer work, you set the pace and the direction. I’ll work alongside you, drawing on whatever helps, and we’ll look at how it’s going as we go.
